He was predeceased by: his parents, O. C. Payton and Vergie Payton (Tatum); his siblings, Johnie B, J. D., Willie J. Payton and Lennie Mae Payton; and his siblings-in-law, Roosevelt Sanders and Mary Sneed.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria "Faye" Payton of Beloit, WI; his daughter Santana "Faye" Payton of Hedgesville, WV; his son-in-law Shawn Rouse of Hedgesville, WV; his grandchildren, Xavier Payton, Antonio Lipscomb Jr. and Jaiyanna Rouse; his siblings-in-law, Jack Sanders of Waukesha, WI, Bobbie Buskey of Brown Deer, WI, Clara Tucker of Brown Deer, WI, Ethel Garrett of Virginia Beach, VA and Berta "Tina" Young of Waukesha, WI; his goddaughter Tijuana Sanders; and his close friends, Dorothy King and Denise Allen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; niece.
