He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sr. Franklin and Lucille Franklin (Porter); his daughter Joyce; and his sister Esther (Waunelle). He is survived by: his wife Waunelle Bowen; his daughters, Mary (Liz) and Wis; his siblings, Bob, Rose Anne and Linda; his daughter Liz; and his grandsons, Adam and Leo Cox.
