He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Myhrvold and Margaret Myhrvold (Nehls); his wife Phyllis A. Boucher; his brother Duane "Butch" Myhrvold; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Myhrvold (Jensen) and Felicia Myhrvold (Brown).

He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Myhrvold-Janssen and Michael Lee Myhrvold (Michelle); his grandchildren, Aaron "AJ" Janssen, Sarah Joy Bennett (Edward), Chalsea Ann Myhrvold and Jacob Olaf Myhrvold; his great grandchildren, Andrew Gerald Bennett, Mason Avery Bennett and Everly Lee Dunn; his brother Gary Lee Myhrvold; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Myhrvold. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family or the Town of Beloit Fire Department Auxiliary in his memory.
