He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lee and Beatrice Lee (Sneath); his wife Leora Moffitt; his daughter Glenora "Sue" Edwards; his grandson Lawrence "Larry" Edwards; and his brother George B. Lee.

He is survived by: his son David Lee (Jennifer) of Florida; his son-in-law David Edwards; his grandsons, David Edwards, Michael Edwards, Jeffery Lee and Gregory Lee; his great grandchildren, Brandon Edwards, Tyler Edwards and Kersten Edwards; and his siblings, Donald Lee of Machesney Park, IL and Selma Bonewald (James) of Dousman, WI..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to Central Christian Church.
