We announce the death of Ida J. Lenz of Beloit, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence LoBue and Anna LoBue (Falcioni). She is survived by: her husband Richard Lenz; her children, Gianna Cicolini of Beloit, WI, Lawrence Cicolini (Valerie) of Ludington, MI, Keeley Cabrera of Beloit, WI and Annie Lyn McDonald (Preston) of Rockton, IL; her grandchildren, Nicholas (Megan Warden), Lauren, Ariana (Oscar), Armman, Luca, Mila and Enzo; her great grandchildren, Nicky, Orlando, Reo, Vea, Matti and Tucker; her sister Joanne Tate (Rick) of Fountain Hills, AZ; her niece Rikki Rae Brady of Phoenix; and her great-nephew Jacob Brady.
Growing up, Ida's wishes were to donate her body to science. Her wish was honored through Donate Life and by doing so, she was able to donate her liver to a recipient and tissue samples to the UW for different studies.
