He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Padon and Marie Padon (Nygaard); his siblings, Homer, Harry, Robert, Eugene, Allen, Merle Padon and Ann Crabtree; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Crabtree and Lorin Dettmann.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Padon; his son Andrew Padon of Roscoe, IL; his nieces and nephews, Richard Crabtree (Nancy), James Crabtree (Rosie), Maxwell Padon, Scott Padon, Chris Padon (Beth), Colleen Polglaze (Denny), Connie Palermo (Tony), Carrie Mauel (Elliot), Jeff Padon, Dawn Padon, Barbara Glyn, Karen Hackbart (Jim), Barb Guinn (Doug), Darla Olson (Jim), Sarah Edison (Don) and Brian Dettmann (Kelly); and his sisters-in-law, Janet Padon and Phyllis Dettmann. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.
He was an active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, he served on the Board of Deacons, the Foundation Board, communion server, usher, and a coach for the Cub Scouts Baseball team.
