She was predeceased by: her parents, Nimrod Hilliard and Bertha Hilliard Sr. (Maye); her son Chris Hereford Sr.; her granddaughter Layla Reid; and her siblings, Nimrod Hilliard Jr., Patricia Hereford, Harriett Smith and Barbara Bedford.

She is survived by: her sisters, Charlette Kittles of Chicago, IL, Bernetta Hilliard of Beloit, WI, Cassandra "Sandi" James (Willie) of Beloit, WI and Darlene Hatchett (James) of Beloit, WI; her grandchildren, Daniel Reid of Beloit, WI, Devon Hereford of Beloit, WI and Chris Hereford Jr. of Rockford, IL; and her great grandchildren, Daniel Reid Jr., Kehlani Hereford, Olivia Hereford, Landon Hereford, Camila Hereford and Jazz Hereford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
