She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. Bird and Lucille L. Bird (Hartshorn); her husband Fred H. Behling Jr.; her daughter Barbara Ann Bandt; her sons-in-law, Larry Popanz and Bob Bandt; and her siblings, Glen Bird, James Bird, Ross Bird, Phyllis Hoekman and Marian Walker.
She is survived by: her daughters, JoAnn Leppla (Dennis) and Teresa Popanz; her grandchildren, Steve Leppla, Jen Plasky, Adam Popanz (Ashley Vedvig), Laura Arbach (Chris), Randy Popanz (Faith Greene) and Katie Popanz (Haili Drury); and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Bird and Thelma Bird. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium (2355 Cranston Rd, Beloit, WI 53511). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
