She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Carpenter and Mary Carpenter (Menke); her former husband Paul Thomas Cole II; and her nephew Joseph W. Wolff. She is survived by: her husband Peter Wyss; her children, Shawn Carpenter (Lindsay Bishop), Samantha Wong (Ethan) and Liberty Wyss; her grandchildren, Lilyonna Jensen and Koby Wong; and her sisters, Jennifer and Mary Carpenter.
During the first 20 years of her career, she held every position possible within a plasma donation center, starting as a phlebotomist and working her way towards center manager.
