He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Heisz and Mollie Heisz (Briggs); his wife Mary Colson; his grandson Lawrence Theodore Heisz III; and his siblings, Lincoln "Gene", Jessie "Jack", Francis "Dutch", Charles "Chuck", Burnard, Donald "Donny", Emmette, Clarance, Sarah Steines, Ruth Vermillion, Margie Knoble and Imogene Ehle.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Heisz (Julie Tracy), Chrystal Stussy (Steve), Lorie Hill (Fred) and Mary McLeod; and his siblings-in-law, Harriett Heisz, Ellen Heisz and Jack Ehle. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
