It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Hovland of Beloit, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hovland and Ina Hovland (Skindingsrude); his sister Joyce; his siblings-in-law, David Houghton, Marilyn (Rousselle) and John Thiel; and his nephew Stephen Henne.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Hovland of Beloit, WI; his children, Camille Weideman (Wesley) of Beloit, WI, Holly Hansen (Peter) of Marshall, WI and Dena Mikkelsen (Kurt) of Beloit, WI; his grandchildren, Jolene (Jake), Melissa (Zach), Danielle (Brian), Staci (Brian), Cory, Jordan (Mindy) and Adam (Hailee); his great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jamison, Tyler, Ella, Aliyah, Atli, Clara, Juliet, James, Mila, Teagan and Easton; his brother Jim Hovland of Clearwater, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Rita and Jack Henne of Sycamore, IL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given in his name to Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Beloit Regional Hospice, Beckman Mill or the Marine Corp League.
