He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Zarnstorff and Bernice Zarnstorff (Dauer); and his son-in-law Albert Stuessy. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Brolin; his children, Karen Stuessy and Kurt; his grandsons, Nathan Stuessy and Trevor Zarnstorff; his great grandchild Clara Stuessy; and his siblings, Janice Porter (Al) and Richard Zarnstorff (Linda).
