She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Kirst and Florence Kirst (Harris); her husband Dewey Brewer Jr.; her sons, Raymond "Maynard" Brewer and John Brewer; and her siblings-in-law, Stan Steinmetz and Kitty Okas.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeremy, Gina, Joe (Elizabeth), Ryan (Lindsey) and Amy (Dyrell); her great grandchildren, Jayla, Jaslynn, Raylee, Brooklynn, Haylee, Leyton, Jalen, Draymon and Zoey; her sister Nancy Steinmetz of Beloit, WI; her brother-in-law K. D. Brewer of Michigan; and her daughters-in-law, Karleen Brewer and Charmane Petersen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in her name to Sun Valley Presbyterian Church.
