He is survived by: his children, Trancito Castaneda, Julian Castaneda, Maricela Castaneda, Margarita Castaneda, Josefina Castaneda, Manuela Castaneda, Juan Carlos Castaneda and Leo Castaneda; and his siblings, Cuca Castaneda, Juana Castaneda and Felipe Castaneda. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
