She was predeceased by : her parents, Alexander Strait and Clara Strait (Norman Hogden); her daughter Ginger Hogden; and her brother Clayton Strait. She is survived by : her significant other Norman Hogden; and her daughters, Gigi Sorenson (Dave) and Jill Weber (Dave). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hills Lutheran Church (1601 N San Francisco St, Flagstaff, AZ 86001).
