She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leverette and Mrytice Leverette (Dubose); her husband Charles T. Chancy; her son Charles Edward Chancy; and her brothers, LeRoy Leverette, James C. Leverette and Julius Leverette.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Person and Alice Chancy; her siblings, Virginia Taylor, Betty Gardner, Barbara Page and Gus Chancy; and her grandchildren, John Chancy, Brock Chancy, Anthony Chancy, Theo Chancy, James Chancy and Darius Chancy. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
