With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jane Bennett of Beloit, Wisconsin, born in DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Horan and Evelyn Horan (Wisted); her husband Charles Bennett Sr.; her daughter-in-law Carol Bennett; her sisters, Rose Jensen and Lori Harrison; her grandsons, Melvin and Bennett Riffel; and her granddaughter-in-law Naomi Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, John Bennett (Marcy), Susan Riffel (Ike), Francis Bennett, Charles Bennett Jr., Sally Johnson (Carl), Patrick Bennett (Mary Anne) and Kathleen Skelly (Tom); and her siblings, Sally Barkey, Fred Jackson and Tom Jackson. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Elizabeths in Janesville or Footville, or to St. Augustines in Footville for masses.
