Merlin S. Hanson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merlin S. Hanson (Beloit, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 5, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mothers, Winnie Hanson and Ruth Hanson (Erickson); his daughter Sylvia Ford; his siblings, Robert, David Hanson, Donna Gelumbis and Shirley Nickel; his granddaughter Mellisa Martingilio; his son-in-law Larry Keeney; and his brother-in-law Larry Miller.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Pat"; his daughters, Barbara Keeney and Tamra Evans; his grandchildren, Brenda Martingilio, Tanya Gorlewski (John), Jami Alderton (Bryan), Sarah Ambon (John) and Christopher Martingilio; his stepgrandsons, Joe Ford Jr. (Jennifer) and Jeremy Ford (Jennifer); his sister Gloria Miller; his sister-in-law Donna Hanson; and his son-in-law Joe Ford. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

Memorials may be given in Merlin's name to Messiah Lutheran Church.
