He is survived by: his wife Joy Bergmann; his children, Andrew Bergmann (Michelle) and Kathy Thomas (Brent Erickson); his grandchildren, Nickolaus Bergmann and Steven Thomas; and his sisters, Connie Ihler and Ginger Zickert (Donald).
