It is with sadness that the passing of Richard F. Engel of Beloit, Wisconsin is shared. Richard, born on June 13, 1930, passed away on August 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Engel and Florence Engel (Terrill); and his sister Marilyn Crooks. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his daughters, Karen Searles (Chris) and Karla Engel (Thomas Severini); and his grandchildren, Courtney Searles, Erin Colson (Jeremy), Jared Bednarcik (Michelle), Lori Riese (Brandon), Trevor Searles (Cara), Katherine Hulley (Thomas), Anthony Severini, Joseph Severini (JuJu Miao) and Elisabeth Severini. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (2222 Shopiere Rd, Beloit, WI 53511). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Beloit Regional Hospice or Vets Roll Beloit, WI.
