He was predeceased by: his parents, Hort Brauns and Annette Brauns (Schaefer); his wife Arlene Kemnitz; his daughter Annette; his parents-in-law, Boyd and Margaret Kemnitz; and his siblings-in-law, Alvin, Joan Kemnitz and Karen Gumieny.
He is survived by: his brother Gerald; his children, Gregg (Jill), Lynette Johnson (Thomas), Darrell (Amy), Jeffrey (Jeanne), Christopher (Beth) and Matthew; his grandson Michael; his children, Bradley, Patrick (Hannah), Kevin, Rebecca Johnson, Joshua, Adam, Lauren, Zachary, Chelsea, Brooke, Nicholas and Jordyn; his brother-in-law Donald Gumieny; his nieces and nephews, Scott, Steven Kemnitz, Dawn Whyte (Henry) and Quinn Gumieny (Korrin); his great-nieces, Alexandria and Emily; his great-nephew Henry Whyte; and his nephew Fletcher Gumieny. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
