He is survived by: his significant other Kim Phillips; his daughter Brenda Lawver (Tim); his grandchildren, Corbin Lawver (Ashlan), Hailee Mikkelsen (Adam) and Hannah Miller (Mitch); his great grandchildren, Tenlee Miller and Easton Mikkelsen; his brother Jim Messenger (Lori); and his brother-in-law Kenneth Steele. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
