He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Nelson and Concordia Nelson; his wife Joyce Austin; and his in-law Roy Austin (Lola). He is survived by: his children, Jim Nelson (Brenda), Tammy Geister (Gerald), Sandy Nelson (Linda), Cheryl Nelson and Shawn Webster; his sister Linda Huebner; and his close friends, Wally Thiering (Mary), Bill Hoefer (Candy) and Bob Carlson (Nancy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
