He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Skogstad and Esther Skogstad (Kingslien); his wife Vivian Sonstebo; his brothers, Gordan, Harlan and Willard Skogstad; and his stepgrandson Dillon Geise.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tamara Robertson (James), Natalie Nordeng (Steven), Amy Stuckey and Lisa Logue (Timothy); his grandchildren, Tory Baars (Robert), James Robertson (Kristen), Markus Stuckey (Jacob Lundquist), Trevor Logue and Brandon Logue (Rachel); his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Marinoff and Thomas Nordeng (Terri); his great grandchildren, Hannah Baars (Michael Gunn), Hailie Baars (Jacob Risch), Hunter Baars (Chase Carratt), Ava Robertson, Emma Robertson, Eleanor Logue and Owen Logue; his stepgrandchildren, Dustin Geise, Braydn Nordeng and Peyton Nordeng; and his sisters-in-law, Louise Skogstad and Lorraine Skogstad. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to Beloit Regional Hospice.
