He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan Mahan and Doretha Mahan (Geralds); his former wives, Dolores Mahan and Arlayne Mahan; his daughter Pia Mahan; and his sisters, Jean Moore, Arlene Holly and Joanna Golden.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Elizabeth Easley; his children, D. Edward Bolton, Marcia Anderson (Amos), Barry Mahan (Jody) and Pamela Rudolph (David); and his grandchildren, Dean Bolton (Hollie), Deidre Merritt, Michael Mahan (Aly), Jacob Mahan, Cameo Mahan Carlos Mahan, Frank Turner and Anna Rakers Montroy Henning. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
