She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Breunig and Marie Breunig; her godson Norman Gross; her nephew Thomas Breunig; her brother-in-law Robert Gross; her parents-in-law, Myrtle and Reinhardt Kolpack; her siblings-in-law, Donna Kolpack and Michael Mathews; and her great-nephews, Zachariah Martin and Michael Breunig.

She is survived by: her husband Reinhardt Jack Kolpack of Beloit; her siblings, Steve Breunig (Shirley) of Sun Prairie, Ralph Breunig (Elaine) of Columbus, Wisconsin, Janine Gross of Columbus, Carol Schmidt (Joe) of Pewaukee, Dolores Nicholls (Ken) of Madison and Mary Lundstrom (Bill) of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Kolpack (Barb), Sue Mathews, Ward Kolpack (Shirley) and Mark Kolpack. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, and many beloved friends.

Memorials may be given in Ruth's name to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Beloit Regional Hospice or St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
