She was predeceased by: her husband John Young; her parents, Mathew John "Matt" Hansen Sr. and Winnifred Joan Hansen (Doyle); her siblings, Kathleen "Kathy" Hansen, Mathew "Matt" Hansen, Jr., Jerome "Jerry" Hansen, Brian "Tank" Hansen and Robert "Bob" Emmett Hansen; her siblings-in-law, Jerry Hoppe, Carl Young, Glen Young, David Young, Robert Young, Fred Young Jr., Nancy Young and Bonnie Young; and her niece Kristine Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Mariam Young and Mathew John "Matt" Young; her brother Richard "Dick" Hansen (David Eckert); her sisters-in-law, Marlene Hansen, Angela Hansen, Helen Hoppe and Elvira "Via" Borkowski; her nieces, Glenda Johnson and Maxine Young-Courson (Vincent); her great-niece Kaitlyn Johnson; her great-nephews, James Courson and Trevor Courson; and her close friend Cecilia Brown. She is also survived by nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
