She was predeceased by : her parents, Marlin Hughes and Vera Hughes (Halverson); and her son Chuck. She is survived by : her husband Robert Uppenkamp; her sons, Tom Uppenkamp (Brenda) and Jim Uppenkamp (Carrie); her daughter-in-law Jeanine O'Brien; her grandchildren, Brant Uppenkamp (Melissa Coquillat), Justin Uppenkamp (Lee), Mallory Leonard (Torry), Jetta Uppenkamp, Garrett Uppenkamp, Andrew Waldron (Abby), Emily Grisham (Geoff) and Allison O'Brien; her great grandchildren, Carter, Story, Aubree and Thomas; and her sister Linda Lemoine (David).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brian Mark Funeral Home (1000 E Inman Pkwy, Beloit, WI 53511). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
