He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bird and Mildred Bird (Blazek); his wife Betty Foley; his siblings, Paul Bird, David Bird and Beverly Bird Mezera; his son-in-law Duane Woodard; and his close friend Teresa McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his children, Bob Bird (Dawn), Pam Woodard and Jim Bird (Tammy); his grandchildren, Justin Woodard (Brenda Pardee), Brianna Woodard, Kayla Bird (Tommy Rowlett), Karlie Bird (Damian Helser), Lauren Bird (Natty Suppapinijichai), Marcus Bird (Maddy) and Trevor Bird (Megan Schneider); his great grandchild Tristan Digiovanni; and his siblings, Marge LoBianco, Dale Bird (Jean) and Pat Bird. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium (2355 Cranston Rd, Beloit, WI 53511). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
