He is survived by: his wife Verna Buck; his children, Shawn V. Buck (Kelli), Gerry L. Hirst, Christopher M. Buck (Alicia), Victoria L. Davenport (Jeremy) and Jeremiah Goetzman; his grandchildren, Jordan, Morgan, Keaton, Kendall, Ryan, Hunter, Parker, Kirstie, Kirk and Kole; his great grandchildren, Josie, Romeo, Lilianna, Paisley, Timberly, Lewis and Baylor; and his sister Donna Atwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials in his name may be given to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
