She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Doud and Jenny Doud (Newlun); her husband Lawrence Atkinson; her children, Sylvia Atkinson, Jeff Atkinson and Mark Atkinson; her siblings, June Draeving (Lawrence), Agnes Weise (Phillip), Hannah Funk (Bob), Clarence Schnurr (Betty), Norman Schnurr (Jane), Bill Schnurr, Edwin Schnurr (Eleanor), Vernon Doud (Verna), Joe Schnurr (Julia), Roy Schnurr (Tootie) and Clyde Schnurr (Carrie); and her brother-in-law Bernard Thostenson.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Winterland (Richard) of Beloit; her grandchildren, Bradley Winterland, Kelly Sinnott (Thomas), Joel Atkinson (Carrie), Kyle Atkinson (Kim) and Nicole Steinman (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Brittney, Brianna, Hailey, Cooper, Wesley, Evelyn, Alex, Ryan and Brendan; her daughter-in-law Janet Rains; her sister Viola Thostenson; and her sisters-in-law, Jeannie Wolfram and Mary Potter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given in her name to Sun Valley Presbyterian Church in Beloit, WI.
