He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cunningham and Ruth Cunningham Sr. (Doris); and his brother-in-law Major Smith. He is survived by: his former wife Grace Joanna LaRosa; his wife Grace "Jo" Cunningham; his stepson Robert Wilcox; his grandson Anthony Wilcox (Alexandria); his great grandchild Kollins Jo Wilcox; his siblings, Barbara Szymanski (Gary), Brenda Hanson (Jeff) and Robert Cunningham (Ellen); his sisters-in-law, Maria Burns (Jerry Gulliksen) and Kathy Smith; and his pet Winston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
He went to Washington D.C. to advocate for pancreatic cancer and put on several concerts in Beloit to raise awareness and donations for pancreatic cancer research.
