He was predeceased by: his parents, George Caldwell and Lillian Caldwell (Buford); and his siblings, Ann Sherrill (Caldwell), Louis Caldwell, Hosie Caldwell and George Caldwell, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Evelyn" Caldwell (Chandler); his children, Dianne Greer (Robert) of Peachtree City, James "Jim" Caldwell (Cheryl) of Lewisville and Darrell Caldwell (Linda) of Fort Wayne, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Nathan Carter, Renee Loiz (Ben), Angela Willis, James Caldwell (Shantha), Carmen Key, Jermaine Caldwell, Jared Caldwell, Darrell Caldwell II, Natalie Blair (Larry) and Chasitee Caldwell; his sister Connie Miller (Caldwell) of Beloit; his nephew Sam Miller of Hendersonville; and his friend Curt Wam of Beloit.
