He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Bennett and Harriet "Hattie" Bennett (Birkett); his wife Mary Joanne Curwen; his siblings, James Bennett (May), Gertrude Sheffer (George), Norman "Buck" Bennett (Opal), Mabel Stark (Edward), Mildred, Daisy Kieler (Wilfred), Betty Riley (Donald) and Melvin Bennett (Carol); and his in-laws, Bill Curwen (Theda) and Glada Wurm (Keith).
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Bennett (Janice) of Benton, WI and Kim Kieler (Terry) of Cuba City, WI. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren: along by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory (2424 STATE ROAD 80 # 825, Cuba City, WI 53807). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of plants & flowers, a Clarence L. Bennett Memorial Fund has been established.
