Hermansen (Byrnes); his grandparents, George, Alice Byrnes, Carl and Marie Hermansen; his aunts and uncles, Robert, Merle Hermansen, Ray, Louise Connolly (Byrnes) and John Byrnes; his siblings, Kathleen (McAllister) and Thomas; his brother-in-law Max Gricevich; his cousin Bill Hermansen; and his close friends, Mike Hill and Udo Rachau.
He is survived by: his husband Karsten; his siblings, Anne, Elizabeth and Michael; his nieces and nephews, Todd McAllister, Kari McAllister, Julie Arcand (Lionel), Andy Gricevich (Nora Novitch), Katharine Gricevich (John Combs), Nathan Hermansen (Karin Adams) and Joseph Hermansen; his cousins, Patti Pilacek (George), Barb Sequin (Steve) and Don Hermansen (Beth); his siblings-in-law, Joyce Holubar and William J. McAllister (Connolly); and his friends, Vicki Lewis-Mckee, Ingrid Erickson, Joyce McCall (Dorner) and Jeanne Seidl.
