He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Mix and Nellie M. Mix (Case); his sister Jean; and his former wife Maureen F. (Rodden). He is also survived by nieces, stepchildren and step-grandchildren, and many special friends.
A memorial has been established at the Berlin Public Library.
