He is survived by: his wife Karen Steeps; his sons, Patrick Moriarty (Lisa) and Jon Moriarty (Amy); his grandchildren, Evan (Stephanie), Brayden (Morgan), Blair (Jordan Tlachac), Sydney (Bryan Hargrave), Alec and Avery; his great grandchildren, Brayleigh and Mya; and his brother Bob Moriarty.
