She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Sommers and Mildred Manske; and her siblings, Gary Sommers, Roberta Sommers, Dennis Sommers and Harvey Liukonen.

She is survived by: her children, James A. Black, Daniel Black (Julie) and Debra Puente (Ted); her grandchildren, Patrick, Sarah (Ron), Michael, Brian and John; her great grandchildren, David, Abigail, Paige, Karlee, Paisley, Clover and Zyler; and her brother Larry Liukonen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Susan's honor may be made to the Humane Society.
