It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald William Uttecht of Birnamwood, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Uttecht and Sarah Uttecht (Diestler); his wife Darlene Schmidt; his son-in-law Shannon Barden; his brother James; and his brothers-in-law, Milton Schmidt and Edward Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Jeannie Larson (Dan), Christy Barden and John Uttecht (Sara); his grandchildren, Stephanie, Olivia, Jackson, Gracyn and Ashlyn; and his sisters, Suzanne Schmidt, Carol Schmidt and Sandra Stillman (Ronnie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
