With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Meverden of Birnamwood, Wisconsin, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Irvin Meverden (Alicia), Robert Meverden (June), Elnora Meverden, Irma Martin (Frank), Eugene Meverden (Anna), Ruth Tafelski (Chuck), Dorothy Sekorski (Dan), Raymond Meverden (Rosie), William Meverden, Mary Meverden, Henry Meverden and Irene Ruenger (Ray).
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Kelly Schmidt (Todd) and Scott Meverden (Jill); his grandchildren, Logan Schmidt, Lilly Schumacher (Matt), Mason, Evan, Carson and Connor Meverden; his great grandchildren, Lucy and Wyatt Schumacher; his siblings, John Meverden (Helen), Dennis Meverden (Sharon), Rose Radke (Charlie), Carol Resch (Ed), Betty Meverden and Barbara Praslowicz (Doug); and his sister-in-law Donna Meverden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home - Birnamwood (445 Main St, Birnamwood, WI 54414).
