He is survived by: his children, Amy Jo Bowar (Nick), Jerry "Bud" Schlimgen (Keri) and Ted Schlimgen (Alison); his grandchildren, Kaila (Brandon), Tyler (Rachel), Zachary, Brooklyn, Savannah and Ella; his great grandchildren, Hudson and Autumn; and his siblings, Leona Rauls (Linus), Glenn Schlimgen, Harold Schlimgen, Grace Schlimgen, Judy Hughes (Steve Thiele), Joann Manteufel (David), Janie Hughes, Joe (Cherie Hughes) and Diane Schlimgen (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
