John Marshal Gerl Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 26, 2021, at the age of 70, John Marshal Gerl of Black Earth, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Marshal Gerl to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gerl Sr. and Virginia Gerl (Northcutt); his brothers, Anthony and Michael; his nephew Scott; and his niece Yvette.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Krantz; his children, Zachary and Sarah Marcoe (Eric); his grandchildren, Emerson and Ellery; his siblings, Albert Jr., Brian and Jennifer; and his pet Gilligan. He is also survived by friends, "Dad" to his children, "Pappy" to his grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, only 60 people are allowed into the funeral home at one time. Social distancing and face masks are required.
