She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Schankey and Janet Schankey (Bates); her stepmother Joyce Schankey; her sister Jenny Larsen; her son Nathan Caponigro; and her former life partner Michael Caponigro.
She is survived by : her husband Orville Amborn; her daughters, Renata (Zack Olson) and Breanne Caponigro; her stepdaughters, Megan Tracy (Sean) and Thereasa Holman (Josh); her siblings, Linda Moore (Leslie), Sandra Schankey, Christina Stewart, John Schankey (Lorena), Joseph Schankey (Tammy) and Justin Schankey (Natalie); her brother-in-law Chad Larsen; her grandchildren, Aaron Dawley, Olivia Caponigro, Logan Graves, Parker Rieck, Alexander Olson, Dreyden Sanders, Dra-Mayne Sanders, Ethan Olson, DraMontae Sanders, Jennings Tracy, Axyl Tracy, Madeline Olson, Gwendolyn Olson, Keegan Holman, Vincent Holman, Joscelyn Olson and Ariah Holman; her pets, Chloe, Daeja and Dreya; and her nephew Tate Stewart. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
With her enormous love for animals, in lieu of flowers , the family is requesting that donations be made to the Jackson County Animal Shelter in her name.
