With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Denise M Volkenant of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2025 at the age of 59. She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldine Scherer (Singleton) and David Scherer. She is survived by: her significant other Darin Denter; her children, Brittany Scherer of Tomah, Chris Volkenant and Blake Denter of Gas City, Indiana; her grandchildren, Heaven and Jase Ward; her close friend Darin Denter; her siblings, Jim Scherer (Kathy) of Yuma, AZ., Ken Scherer (Yvette) of Sheboygan Falls, Dan Scherer of Sheboygan Falls, Lori Scherer of South Carolina, Sheri Sherer of Milwaukee and Debbie Postuma of Teresa; and her pets, Missy and Tater. She is also survived by nieces; nephews.
