It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Tollef Brudos of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brudos and Ruth Brudos (Morton); his siblings, Robert Brudos and Jeanette Veldey; his siblings-in-law, Oscar and Helga Lee; and his son-in-law James Scharlau.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Lee; his daughters, Lori Brudos-Scharlau and Sue Bjerke (Jody); his grandchildren, David (Suzan), Joshua (Heather), Lee Wyss (Sara), Jason (Nicole), Cory (Jill) and Jim Bjerke (Alisha); his stepgranddaughter Savanna Scharlau (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Zachary, Ashley, Kaleb, Kaylee, Jackson, Nora, Lief, Silas, Bosco, Siri, Drake Wyss, Lauren, Brayden, Austin and Harper Bjerke; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Emma Watkins, Skye Scharlau and Ava Campbell; his siblings, Kenneth Brudos (Emily) of Albuquerque, NM and Virginia Luckasson of Cashton, WI; and his brother-in-law Raymond Lee (Marge) of Holmen, WI.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials be directed to the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Evangelical Lutheran Church Radio Fund, American Legion Miles-Hagen Post 200 and Jackson County Interfaith Caregivers.
