She was predeceased by: her parents, Spencer Steine and Verna Steine (Tjerstad); her husband David S. Hansen; her sons, Scott and John; her in-laws, Irma Hansen Madsen and Ove Madsen; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Hansen, Stanley Bernette and Dennis Yeskie.
She is survived by: her son Greg Hansen; her siblings, Rita Ann Bernette (Stanley) of Sparta, Judie Harkner (Tom) of Millson, Joan Yeskie of Carson City, NV and Greg Steine (Becky); her siblings-in-law, Robert J. Hansen, Tom Harkner, Cindy Hansen, Lois Hansen and Becky Steine; and her godchildren, Marianne Torkelson, Sonja Burkhart, Mark Hansen, Kristina Tennert, Jacob Steine, Erik Steine, Carrie Wees and Dan Quimby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Mary's memory to the Little Norway Church, Interfaith Caregivers, Friends Sharing Food, or the Black River Falls Enrichment Fund.
