He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Cleveland and Nina Cleveland (Greendeer); his siblings, Mercedes Cleveland, Delbert Cleveland, Lambert Cleveland Sr. and Alberta Decorah (Cleveland); his son Albert Cleveland; his niece Nina WhiteEagle; and his nephew Daniel WhiteEagle.

He is survived by: his daughters, Alison Cleveland, Fonda Blackdeer (Edward), Carly Haugstad (Travis) and Lavinia Brookshaw (Brent); his siblings, Wilbert, Herbert Cleveland (Paula), Wilfrid Cleveland, Steven Cleveland (Sheila), Tina McArthur and Rita Gardner (Bill); his grandchildren, Heaven O'Brien, Autumn O'Brien, Devin O'Brien (Paizlee), Aaron O'Brien, Ryder Haugstad and Lakyn Haugstad; and his great grandchildren, Abel Hernandez, Ryland O'Brien, Molly O'Brien, Kashus Schoenfuss, Illias Dominguez and Finn O'Brien.
