He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Elliott and LaVern Elliott (Pretasky); and his siblings, Vernie Ellis, Jerry Elliott, Caroline Bielefeldt, Mary Rucinski and John Elliott.

He is survived by: his children, Angel McKellar, Doak Elliott, Brenda Smith (Rodger), Janet Courduff (John), Laura Lien (Rob) and Wade Elliott (Jennifer); and his siblings, Sally Sobkowiak, Angie Nagle and Ralph Elliott (Sandy). He is also survived by his children and their spouses, 10 grandchildren, 13 grandchildren.
