She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Freund and Agnes Freund (Stephanie); her stepson Aaron Steiner; and her parents-in-law, Sheldon and Diane Steiner.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Steiner; her son Cole Steiner; her stepsons, Justin Steiner and Sean Steiner (Kim); her siblings, Elizabeth Phillips (Jeff), Gerard "Cub" Freund (Donna), Eugene "Geno" Freund (Laurie), Randy Freund (Laurie) and Catherine "Cath" Krupp (Mike Stock); and her brother-in-law Doug Steiner (Kay). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home (29 6th Ave, New Glarus, WI 53574). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (338 S Harrison St, Belleville, WI 53508). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sue's Life Will Follow the Memorial (116 5th Ave, New Glarus, WI 53574).
