He is survived by: his former wife Catherine Fisher; his children, Tina Niesen (Rick), Tami Weggen (John) and Troy Schindler (Allison); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Niesen, Brooke Quarders, Catrina Schindler, Mckenzie Muska, Stella Marben-Schindler, Kiera Thom and Alaina Thom; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Charlie, Everley, Cameron, Jameson and Gavin; and his brothers, Dennis Schindler (Jean), Tom Schindler (Karen) and Roger Schindler.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home (1806 17th Ave, Bloomer, WI 54724).
